About this workshop

This workshop was facilitated by Vishnu Raghuram (Umeå University, Sweden) and co-ordinated by Prof. Kgaugelo Lekota (North West University, South Africa).

The source of all example datasets for this workshop came from this preprint where 36 Salmonella enterica sequences were collected from raw poultry meat as part of port-of-entry surveillance in South Africa. The sequences are deposited under the Bioproject PRJNA1230142.

To gather materials for this workshop, I used several online resources as well as content from past workshops with other colleagues. The online sources will be linked wherever relevant in the workshop materials. I would mainly like to acknowledge:
